Innovation and patience are Texas whiskey's greatest assets. Traveling to France with Nancy Fraley pushed us to take slow water reduction further than we ever had before, resting these barrels at a lower proof for years rather than months. Jimmy Red corn is an heirloom grain with deep roots in American whiskey history, and it deserves that kind of time and intention. This is the most refined expression we've ever made.

36% RED CORN - 34% WHITE CORN - 25% RYE - 5% BARLEY

100 Proof | 50% ABV | 750 mL

Nose: Aromatic and expressive, with warm, rich oak, gently cooked red fruit, creamsicle, honey, and aged red tea, with savory notes of five spice and pistachios.

Palate: Rich and full with hints of marzipan, sweet almond paste, ripe strawberry, walnuts, roasted almonds, and rock candy, which lends a crystalline, toasted sweetness. Hazelnut rounds out the profile with a smooth nuttiness.

Finish: The finish is medium-long; soft but structured with refined tannins, notes of pipe tobacco, hazelnut, and leather adding warmth, and hints of golden toasted marshmallow blend into a gentle, savory, and sweet finish.
